Owner Carol Hawksworth has been working with client accounting and payroll software since 2002. Working in the Chartered Accountant environment, in 2004 her primary focus became setting up, training and supporting accounting and payroll software for her employer's clients from a variety of industries. In 2008 Carol became a business owner in her own right, continuing this role with her own clients as Accounting Essentials Ltd to 2017, and Puriri Accounts Ltd since 2017.
Whether supporting a client to do their own bookkeeping or filling the role of bookkeeper herself, Carol enjoys the challenges of tailoring software solutions to support each client's particular business requirements, helping her clients review their office processes to support accurate data entry, and develop reports that support business management decision-making with accurate and timely information.
